DL has proven success in the deployment of next-generation infrastructure technologies across the data center lifecycle; from design & planning, install & build through Day 2 maintenance, technology upgrades & retrofits, including delivering the latest wave of AI/ML platforms. **Job Title: Onboarding Care Specialist** **About the role:** We are seeking an Onboarding Care Specialist to manage and coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for Direct Line new hires. This role serves as the operational backbone of onboarding, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional candidate experience from offer acceptance through start date. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a seamless and supportive onboarding journey. **What you will do:** + Coordinate and track completion of all pre-employment and onboarding documentation. + Ensure onboarding rosters are accurate, complete, and maintained in real time. + Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during preboarding and their initial onboarding period. + Coordinate start dates, preboarding checks, and readiness activities to ensure successful day-one starts. + Communicate proactively with candidates and internal stakeholders, including sending welcome communications and confirming onboarding details. + Provide timely, professional, and friendly communication throughout the onboarding process. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking and onboarding systems. + Confirm and manage new hire records within the Hiring Manager (HM) portal. + Follow up with candidates to ensure timely completion of onboarding requirements. + Ensure onboarding processes remain compliant with all operational, legal, and organizational requirements. + Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding workflows and support continuous process improvement. + Act as a brand ambassador, promoting company culture, values, and professionalism throughout the candidate experience. + Continuously review candidate feedback and onboarding outcomes to enhance the overall onboarding experience. **What will you need:** + Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. + Experience working with applicant tracking systems and onboarding platforms preferred. + Investigative mindset with a strong focus on candidate care and experience. + Ability to collaborate effectively with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams. + Ability to work independently and problem-solve various possible situations. + Intermediate experience with MS Office programs – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. + Experience with Avature or other ATS platforms is preferred. **Why CBRE:** When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
