About our property:

Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast, by Curio is a stunning waterfront destination located in Southwest Florida, offering the perfect blend of luxury and leisure. What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Security Officer II is responsible for providing safety and security on Sunseeker Resort owned and operated properties. The Security Officer II will help protect guests, visitors and fellow team members and their belongings, as well as Sunseeker Resort property.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Follow the directives of the Security and Surveillance Department’s chain of commandCoordinate with law enforcement as necessaryDe-escalate disagreements between individuals and opposing partiesProperly maintain effective crowd control during times of high trafficAssist, direct, and/or escort guests, visitors, vendors, and team members when necessaryPatrol all Sunseeker Resort grounds/buildings (interior, exterior, parking lots, and structures)Sit or stand post when scheduled/required until properly relievedEnsure all doors and gates are properly secured pursuant to Sunseeker Resort policies, practices, and proceduresRespond to various situations as directed by the dispatcher, including incidents/disturbances, and calls for support from guests, team members, and the Security and Surveillance Department’s chain of commandThoroughly, accurately, and timely complete reports and/or security logs when requiredMonitor foot and vehicular traffic on Sunseeker Resort owned and operated properties.Ensure the confidentiality of all information (oral or written) relevant to the operating procedures, capabilities, equipment uses, and equipment locations, of the Security and Surveillance DepartmentFulfill surveillance/dispatcher duties when assigned

What are we looking for?

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

Must be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or equivalentPossess or be able to obtain a First Aid /CPR/AED certificationFlorida state class D Security License preferred
