Job Title: Ingredient Handling and Sanitation Specialist

Hours

5pm- 5am 2/2/3 Schedule - Work 1/2 the year and enjoy a 3 day weekend every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team to coordinate the unloading and storage of incoming ingredient oils while ensuring sanitation duties are performed in the tank farm areas. This role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) to maintain proper food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the daily schedule for unloading and storage of ingredient oils.Perform sanitation duties on the tank farm areas.Work on the rail line to manage tankers delivering raw ingredients and oils.Connect piping systems to incoming tankers for safe and efficient material transfer.Utilize hand tools to manage hose fittings, valves, and transfer equipment.Operate forklifts (sit-down or stand-up) to assist with material movement.Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

Experience with material handling and general labor tasks.Proficiency in operating forklifts.Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools.Ability to work in a physically active, fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with RF scanners, packing, and pallet jacks.Capability to climb on top of tankers, working at heights of 10-15 feet.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.81 - $22.81/hr.
