Overhead Door Technician – Direct Hire Opportunity

Aerotek is hiring Overhead Door Technicians for a direct hire opportunity with a leading company in the Evansville area. This is not a contract-to-hire role—you’ll join the team as a permanent employee from day one. In this role, you’ll install and service a variety of overhead door systems, including sectional, rolling steel, high-speed, service and sliding doors, gate opening systems, operable partitions, and dock leveling systems. Product-specific training will be provided to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair overhead door systems and related equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components.Ensure job site safety and compliance with company and customer standards.Serve as the primary point of contact on job sites with professionalism and punctuality.Work overtime, weekends, and at multiple job sites as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Ability to work in all environments and weather conditions.Willingness to work 40+ hours per week.Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.Ability to complete required training for access to local manufacturing sites.Current or ability to obtain:OSHA 30 certificationAssociation of Reciprocal Safety Council (ARSC) certification

Experience Requirements

3+ years:Commercial overhead door installation/service or related experienceTraining and leading colleaguesARC/MIG welding and metal fabricationHoist and sling usage5+ years:Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagramsUnderstanding PLC functions (ladder logic/programming)Understanding relay logic circuits and 3-phase 480 voltsTroubleshooting mechanical and electrical componentsJob site organization and safety complianceOperating scissor lifts, high lifts, fork trucks, and heavy equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
