Job Title: Officer – Reference Data Management

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Officer to join our operations team within State Street Markets. The role involves managing critical business-as-usual (BAU) processes, supporting audits and compliance reviews, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication. The successful candidate will contribute to global operations by analyzing processes, improving controls, and supporting staff development. This position is essential in maintaining operational excellence within a fast-paced financial services environment.

What you will be responsible for
Manage staff turnover and support onboarding/training of employees.
Coordinate with Internal and External Audits/ Compliance teams.
Conduct system access setup and periodic access reviews.
Work with global teams (APAC, EMEA, North America, etc.) on business continuity plans.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of end-of-day (EOD) controls, error logs, and other process related controls.
Supervise BAU activities independently with timely escalations.
Assist team members with BAU issues and queries.
Identify and resolve process/control gaps, ensuring documentation and evidence.
Respond to inquiries and escalate/report issues promptly for timely resolution.
Track KPIs and KRIs, monitor risks, and address challenges effectively.
Drive process improvements, implement efficiencies, and share best practices.
Participate in enhancements of systems, workflow management, and database maintenance.
Engage staff through feedback, performance reviews, and career development.
Foster teamwork, collaboration, and leadership across global operating teams.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong stakeholder management skills to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in Finance or Commerce (B.Com, BBM/BBA, MBA Finance, M.Com).
10+ years of experience in business or systems analysis, preferably in financial services.
Knowledge of MS Excel, SQL, Macros, and MS Access database queries.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work independently.
