Leggett & Platt, Incorporated, is seeking an Office Services Assistant for our Corporate office in Carthage, Missouri. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional before/after hours availability needed. This job must be onsite.

 

Things you'll do:

Provide clerical support and assist in the smooth operation of daily tasks within the department. Complete paperwork, reply to emails, manage spreadsheets, organize files Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Switchboard - duties include providing excellent customer service while answering phones Cover the receptionist desk when required – duties include welcoming visitors and answering incoming calls Provide coverage as needed for the Mailroom – duties include pickup and deliver mail to Post Office and across our Corporate Campus, operate postal machinery, log incoming UPS packages Provide coverage as needed for our Conference Center – duties include ensuring that meeting needs are being provided for and maintain refreshments during events This role requires occasional before/after hours availability to meet needs for our Conference Center. Flexibility is essential.

 

Things you'll need:

High School/GED or equivalent vocational training Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to move at a fast pace while being accurate Attention to detail is a must Great communication skills; including phone etiquette
