Job Title: Facility Operations Coordinator

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional overtime and weekend work required)

Position Summary

The Facility Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the PRRC facility. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, manages day-to-day administrative and operational tasks, and supports site leadership in maintaining compliance, inventory, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in plant or industrial facility environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesVisitor Management:Greet and assist all visitors, ensuring proper sign-in and adherence to safety protocols.Event & Function Coordination:Lead planning and execution of group and facility functions.Administrative Support:Assist General Manager and site leadership with reporting updates (daily, weekly, monthly).Track status of permits and regulatory requirements.IT Liaison:Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related needs and coordination.Document Control:Maintain organized document systems (electronic and paper), including folder structure, naming conventions, revision control, and editor tracking.Inventory & Procurement:Manage inventories of parts, tools, supplies, and consumables.Execute procurement tasks: create purchase requisitions, manage approvals, issue purchase orders.Coordinate shipments and deliveries to support operations.Restock shelves and perform inventory audits (cycle counts, physical counts).Vendor & Subcontractor Management:Establish and onboard vendors.Coordinate subcontractor activities (e.g., cleaners, exterminators, auditors, consultants, landscapers, waste haulers).Evaluate bids and align scopes of work.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with plant staff, vendors, visitors, and other stakeholders.Additional Duties:Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.Experience:Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within a plant, manufacturing, or industrial facility.Proven experience in procurement, logistics coordination, and inventory control.Skills:Office management, customer service, data entry, Microsoft Office proficiency, administrative support, purchasing, inventory control, front desk operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $38.00/hr.
