Job Description
Our on-demand manufacturing company is seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple office locations, primarily based in our Rockville, MD office. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for employees and stakeholders, collaborating closely with company leadership to ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures. The role requires a strong background in administrative and executive support, as well as office management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently and maintain discretion with sensitive data.
ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day office operations for all Maryland locations, ensuring a positive employee experience.Maintain the cleanliness and safety of common spaces, including pantries and kitchens.Identify and manage office service vendors, negotiate pricing, and oversee service level agreements.Order and manage inventory of office supplies, pantries, and equipment.Coordinate with property management and utility companies to address and resolve physical issues promptly.Manage the building security system and ensure proper employee access and building security.Manage facility calendars and provide support for meetings as needed.Resolve issues with timekeeping equipment for hourly/non-exempt employees.Monitor the purchasing email account and place orders, ensuring adherence to company policies.Communicate with suppliers and vendors to process payments, track shipments, and resolve inquiries.Ensure a positive candidate experience during the interviewing process and onboarding.Coordinate with IT to provide employees with necessary workspace and equipment.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years managing a multi-location office with administrative, facilities, and communication supportIntermediate level proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets and presentationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWork Environment
The position is 100% onsite at the Rockville/North Bethesda site, with occasional commutes to the Gaithersburg site for mail and stocking supplies. The work hours are from 8 AM to 6 PM, with an hour for lunch.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
