**Now Hiring: Office Assistant – Development Services (City of Tulsa)** **Location:** Tulsa, OK **Pay Rate:** $18.63 per hour **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM **Duration:** Temporary **Position Overview** Manpower is seeking a detail-oriented and professional **Office Assistant** to support the **Development Services Department** at the City of Tulsa. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in municipal government while contributing to a high-functioning administrative team. **Key Responsibilities** + Write and edit memos, letters, and general correspondence + Utilize advanced computer software to manage and maintain database information + Assist in preparing and documenting the department budget + Support staff by answering questions using City Personnel Policies and Procedures + Provide assistance to employees and the public regarding City department locations and functions + Help develop and administer office procedures + Coordinate special projects and conduct research + Schedule and arrange meetings and conferences + Attend committee/board/authority meetings and transcribe minutes + Provide lead responsibilities and backup support to the team + Report to work on a regular and timely basis **Qualifications** + Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and basic accounting/mathematics + Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software + Familiarity with general office practices and procedures **Education** + High school diploma or **GED** required If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
