We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom clerk for our organization who will be responsible for managing the receipt, sorting, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages and working on various other projects. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift and transport packages in a fast-paced environment".

Job Description


MAIL ORGANIZATION
· Sort and distribute mail
· Resolve issues with incorrect, returned mail
· Receive outgoing mail and apply correct postage
· Arrange for pickup of outgoing mail
· Stamp mail with postage meters
· Fold letters, circulars or other documents and insert into envelopes for distribution· process certified mail and regular mail on Pitney Bowes
SHIPPINGProcess domestic and international outgoing shipments (Fed-Ex, UPS and USPS)Receive and scan packages and messenger with send suite tracking onlineOFFICE ASSISTANCE
· Ensure all supply stations are adequately stocked with office supplies
· Stock copy rooms and printing devicesFile and store bank statements with Iron MountainWork on various desk drops of merchandise.Process document printing services requests.Deliver to floors incoming packagesTroubleshot printers and copiers/toner replacementProduct inventory/supplies orderingAnswering emailsWorking on Famis 360 ticketing platformEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
· Minimum 2 years of previous mail room experience
 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
· Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
· Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel and Google sheets.

· Ability to learn quicklyFast and responsiveMultitasker is a must.Able to work under pressure.
· Lift heavy boxes, files or paper when needed
· Regularly required to travel from floor to floor and may be required to travel outside between buildings across the street.in varying outdoor weather conditions.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $24.12 - $28.38
