Tasks and Duties

Receive documentsPrepare shipmentsRoute shipmentsManage freight receiptProcess shipmentsMonitor shipmentsEnsure smooth and timely freight process flow.Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.Track and trace Ocean & Order Management files.Use workflows on daily basis to manage shipmentsMonitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfactionEnsure documents are timely sent and arrival notice communicated to destination for Export shipments.Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.Manage intercompany invoice paymentsInteract with our customers, arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standardsContribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors (Shipping lines, trucking companies, and others).Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS), Audit requirements, external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements.Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the DLSOP.Meet KPI standards, per company procedure.Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)Escalation of problems to Management when necessaryPromote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.Adhere to the company’s 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humor, and Visionary.

QualificationsCollege graduate or above.Global logistics industry knowledgeUnderstanding transportation process of all models is a plusHazardous Materials certification (preferred)6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceExcellent organizational skills, time management skills in addition to a professional  mannerPositive and willing to help attitudeEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely obtain positive resultsAbility to travelGood computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)Fluent in English
