Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist shall plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including doctors and other health personnel; and supervise COTAs, aides, volunteers, and students. The occupational therapist will follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
Kentucky State License or interim license as an occupational therapist required.
Requires a Bachelor, Post baccalaureate Certificate, Master or Doctoral degree from an occupational therapy program accredited by the Accrediting Council on Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) or its equivalent, or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in acute care, SNF, and/or outpatient experience preferred.
