Job Overview

We are seeking a pediatric occupational therapist to join our team at M Health Fairview Clinics and Specialty Center in Maplewood!

 

Ideal candidate would have experience working independently and would collaborate with physical and speech therapists. The occupational therapist will serve our pediatric population and be a part of a collaborative, compassionate team that makes exceptional patient care a priority. In collaboration with patients and families, the occupational therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes. 

FTE: 0.8 - 1.0, authorized to work 64-80 hours per pay period.Schedule: Monday - Friday, approximately 8:00am - 4:30pm. Fairview Rehabilitation offers a range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. Consisting of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy as well as Audiology and Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, our therapists collaborate with colleagues in all medical settings and offer dozens of specialty programs.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Occupational Therapy Licensure in State of Minnesota or temporary license in State of Minnesota

Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy1+ year(s) of outpatient pediatric experienceCertification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
