Our Company Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation Overview Make an Impact in our Home and Community Program: Who we are looking for: + An experienced COTA, enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, whether at home, school, work, or in the community + You are ready to treat your client beyond a staged environment into real life experiences like cooking in their kitchen, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and the workplace + You thrive in an autonomous setting, and value being a part of a collaborative team of dynamic therapists What you will receive: + Flexible Schedule Created by You + Paid per hour (not just per visit) + Driving, Travel, Mileage Reimbursement + Growth/Advancement Opportunities Responsibilities + Assist patients in exercise, ADLs, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist + Assist Occupational Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures + Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist + Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development + Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided + Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the AOTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics + Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications + Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program + Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application + Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries + Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques + Current CPR certification About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
