Your Key Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilites:

Exposure of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Sustainability  standards  & Knowledge of Environment Regulations.   
EHS Induction training for workers in co-ordination with HR. 
Coordinate with plant EHS team ,lead  the day today activities. Monitoring the work permits and other safety activities in the plant and maintain safe work place..  
Regular inspection of Fire pump room, Methanol, Ammonia  shed,HSD yard, LPG bank  & STP/ETP  
Conduct risk assessment  and provide  suitable solutions to prevent the incident  in the shopfloor 
Fulfill  EHS audit action / targets time to time and  address all  recommendations  in timely manner 
Inspection of machinery, lifting tackles other equipment to ensure the compliances are adhered.  
Liaise and communicate with corporate EHS function to ensure policies and procedures are implemented  
To achieve  all  EHS KPI’s within the situated timeline. Maintaining and keep readiness  of firefighting/detection system in the plant always  
Handle the   company contractor management system and renewal of licenses/ certification in coordination  with        government  officials. 
Must known Tamil language. 
Plan/ coordinate with relevant stockholders  resolve the issues on water management system, fire hydrants systems, LPS systems like Access control, fire detectors, gas detectors, industrial waste water and sewage and kitchen waste water treatment systems. etc. 
Conduct regular inspection of machines and equipment and identify the potential problems early to suggest for preventive maintenance.   
Drive sustainability and ESG in the plant 
Planning and executing capital improvement projects to improve  sustainability/ EHS 
Excellent communication skills to present  safety KPIs. 
Oversee all EHS -related activities. He will be responsible fo maintaining all EHS relavant activities like safety inspection, safety patrolling , documentation etc. 
To handle sustainability /ESG portion in the Plant and  implement  statutory requirement and dealing with government authorities. 

Your Qualifications

Qualification

BE in mechanical /electrical engineering with diploma in industrial safety from RLI / ME industrial safety from recognised institutions with minimum 15 years of experience in safety management in industry. Experience in auto components industry with knowledge on heavy Presses and automated Furnace are preferable.
