The Occupational Health Clinic Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily onsite clinical operations, with a focus on Workers’ Compensation, employee health services, and case management. This role involves collaboration with first responders and a remote Medical Director to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient care delivery. The position allows for a strong emphasis on quality, documentation, training, and program coordination, with patient volume ranging from 0 to 15 visits per day.
ResponsibilitiesProvide frontline occupational health services with a primary focus on Workers’ Compensation cases.Perform clinical assessments, triage, and coordinate care in alignment with the Medical Director’s guidance.Conduct drug and alcohol testing according to company and regulatory standards.Support employee pre-screening, onboarding, and new hire health orientation as needed.Manage Workers’ Compensation cases from injury intake through follow-up and resolution.Coordinate communication between employees, HR, the Medical Director, and external providers.Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures, including ADA-related processes.Sign and adhere to NDAs related to Workers’ Compensation and employee health data.Support new-hire safety and health training.Assist with onboarding workflows related to occupational health requirements.Coordinate onsite wellness services and vendor visits, such as hearing and vision screenings.Conduct routine equipment checks, including EKG safety checks.Maintain clinic readiness, supplies, and documentation standards.Support quality improvement initiatives and workflow optimization.Essential SkillsExperience in occupational health, workers’ compensation, or clinical case management.Strong knowledge of workplace health, injury management, and compliance processes.Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to collaborate with a remote Medical Director.Current State Licensure – Must have an active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of South Carolina.Minimum 5+ years of emergency or clinical nursing experience preferred.CPR / BLS Provider certification required.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient experience using Outlook, Excel, and other computer skills.Prior experience working in an onsite or employer-based clinic preferred.Familiarity with ADA, FMLA, and case management processes.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is an onsite clinic setting within a manufacturing site that spans approximately 1 acre. The clinic is supported by EMT staff and first responders. The role offers a predictable patient volume with a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
