Our client, a leader in industrial and occupational health services, is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to join their team. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will be part of the Health Services department supporting multiple sites across St. Louis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, independence, and organizational abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Occupational Health Nurse
**Location:** St. Louis, MO
**Duration:** 12+ Months Contract
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide on-site medical care and health management for employees at multiple locations.
+ Schedule and conduct health assessments, including vital signs, blood draws, urine collection, and spirometry.
+ Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers to review medical findings and maintain accurate reports.
+ Support emergency response, first aid, and treatment for injured employees as needed.
+ Manage medical data, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and coordinate return-to-work procedures.
**What's Needed?**
+ Associates in Nursing (ASN) and active/unrestricted LPN/LVN license required.
+ 2-4+ years of professional experience, preferably in industrial or occupational health settings.
+ Experience with ER, paramedic, or triage work is highly desirable.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and medical management systems.
