This role ensures the effective and efficient use of office space, aligns workplace solutions with business goals, and provides leadership in the management of space allocation, utilization, and forecasting. The Occupancy Planning Lead collaborates with internal stakeholders, facilities management, and real estate teams to create optimal work environments that support employee productivity and organizational growth. **What You'll Do:** + Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between corporate real estate teams and business units, gathering requirements, addressing concerns, and providing regular updates on projects and initiatives. + Project Coordination: Support the management of real estate projects, including office relocations, lease renewals, renovations, and space planning, by tracking timelines, deliverables, and budgets. + Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze space utilization data, generate reports, and present recommendations to senior leadership. + Develop and implement occupancy planning strategies that support the organization’s business objectives and growth plans. + Analyze current and future space requirements based on business needs, headcount forecasts, and organizational changes. + Lead and manage space allocation, utilization, and reconfiguration projects to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. + Collaborate with HR, Facilities, IT, and Real Estate teams to ensure seamless execution of occupancy plans. + Oversee space management software and ensure data accuracy for occupancy planning purposes. + Serve as the primary point of contact for occupancy-related inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders. + Support change management initiatives related to workplace strategy, including employee communications and training. + Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the CRE team, including meeting coordination, scheduling, and preparation of presentations or reports. **What You'll Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). + 5+ years of experience in occupancy planning, space management, or workplace strategy, preferably in a corporate environment. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. + Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. + Proficiency with space management software (e.g., CAFM, IWMS), and Microsoft Office Suite. + Knowledge of building codes, health and safety regulations, and accessibility standards is a plus. + Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and manage ambiguity. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Occupancy Planning Manager position is $125,000 annually with bonus eligibility and the maximum salary for the position is $150,000 annually with bonus eligibility. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
