Job Description Summary

The Occupancy Planner oversees and provides tactical occupancy planning expertise in supply, capacity and demand of Client’s portfolio of space in a specific geographic region.

Principle Responsibilities

Activities will consist of day-to-day change requests, project space planning and solution development, project support including client relationship manager and project coordination, site strategy support related to space and occupancy analysis, solution outcomes and utilization metrics.Coordinates, maintains and provides information to update use and occupancy tracking systemCompiles and analyzes data for business initiativesParticipates in site studies/business scenarios and strategies to develop proposals and plansPerforms regional integration and site analysisEvaluates site capabilitiesInteracts with internal organizations to identify and assess space needsCreates short range facilities plansUpdates AutoCAD drawings to reflect occupancy and layout changesMaintain and analyze BU demand/supply informationMonitor BU demand and supply against approved planWork with the client on utilization data and sizing model informationUnderstand and incorporate workplace strategy in long-term plansIdentify tactical projects for implementationCreate current and forecasted Stack PlansDevelop space plansMonitor unplanned activityDevelop and expand relationships with key client/site stakeholdersDevelop and implement strategies to improve Employee Experience for planningCoordinate with project manager to ensure work is delivered within timeframe and agreed-upon scopeSupport change management as it pertains to changing workspace and work stylePossess strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline or field of study (i.e. Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.) preferredMinimum of five+ years’ experience in a corporate real estate environment preferredPossesses strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendationsMaintains a working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems, AutoCAD and relational database functionality.Demonstrates proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & designExperienced in managing projects of varied scope and complexityProficient in MS Office Suite software applicationsExcellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAble to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective servicesStrong oral, written and presentation skillsAssumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completionStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $81,600.00 - $96,000.00
