Responsibilities What You’ll Do as a Nursing Supervisor, Pediatric RN: + In this leadership role, you will: + Assist DON/ADON with day-to-day nursing operations + Ensure adequate 24-hour nursing coverage and appropriate staffing levels + Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges + Support orientation, education, and in-service training for nursing staff + Conduct daily rounds to assess care delivery, documentation, and staff performance + Monitor medication administration and treatment compliance + Review documentation, incident reports, and care plans for accuracy and quality + Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members + Participate in surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections + Support employee counseling, performance management, and disciplinary processes in coordination with HR + This role blends hands-on clinical leadership with operational oversight. Qualifications Nursing Supervisor – Pediatric RN: + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred) + Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania + Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience + At least one (1) year of nursing leadership experience + Pediatric, hospital, or long-term care nursing experience required + Experience in nursing education or in-service training preferred + Must be at least 21 years of age + This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
