**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As our Nursing Assistant (NA), you will perform essential direct patient care, working under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse, often while actively pursuing your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Every day you will provide comprehensive patient care, including bathing, oral care, feeding, ambulation, and monitoring vital signs. You will also manage other duties such as inventory, documentation, clerical tasks, dietary assistance, light housekeeping, and computer input, directly supporting the nursing unit's operational needs.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong capability for basic patient care, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, and effectively collaborate within the nursing team to ensure optimal patient well-being and a supportive care environment, showcasing dedication to advancing your healthcare career.
+ Demonstrates basic patient care skills, including, but not limited to patient hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, back rubs). Measurement: Observation, Patient Care Documentation.
+ Measures vital signs, weights, and measures I&O, accurately and within expected time frames. Measurement: Observation, Accuracy, Timeliness.
+ Documents accurately on designated forms or in computer. Measurement: Observation, Patient Care Documentation, Accuracy.
+ Ambulates, lifts, moves and transports patients within specified time frames. Measurement: Observation, Timeliness.
+ Positions patients and performs range of motion exercises. Measurement: Observation, Accuracy.
+ Stocks patient care supplies before leaving end of shift. Measurement: Observation, Inventory, Feedback.
**Job Requirements**
Required
+ High School GED or High School Graduate
+ Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program
+ Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, upon hire
+ Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Preferred
+ Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA

**Pay Range**
$24.00 - $28.09 /hour
