Nurse Supervisor
Job Description Overview: Insight Global is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to support the Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW), a 130-bed, short-term, acute care hospital providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. PIW offers inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs, including specialized treatment for chemical dependency. Responsibilities Include: • Directs activities necessary for efficient functioning of all systems and personnel on the unit. • Supervises Nurses (RNs, LPNs) and provides direct care to patients. • Manages the provision of nursing care and coordinates patient requirements with the Nurse Manager. Skills and Requirements Requirements: • DC Licensure. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. • At least 2 years of nursing experience within an acute care hospital setting.  ○ No long term care.  ○ No new grads. • 1 years of Leadership experience. • Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices. • Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others’ activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment. Preferred: • Psych RN experience preferred.
