Position Overview
The Occupational Nurse will work in collaboration with medical staff and paramedics in the provision of health services. The successful candidate will support our infirmaries in rotating shifts at our Carolina campus.
General Responsibilities
· Implement Medical Surveillances (visual screening, audiometric, clinical tests, drug screen, immunization, EKG, PFT, 3-Minute Steps)
· Promote, prevent, educate, and intervene with the health of our employees
· Administer medical treatment as ordered by the physician
· Keep the electronic medical record updated
Cority experienced required· Carry out pre-employment medical tests
· Notify incident reports following procedures
· Report medical absences to the supervisors
· Participate in the Lilly del Caribe (LdC) Medical Cases Committee
· Manage medical cases (occupational and non-occupational)
· Take vital signs
· Manage inventory of medical supplies (stock, disposition, etc.)
· Manage medical waste (Biohazard)
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Nursing Sciences
· Occupational Nurse Certificate, preferable
· Registered Nurse License
· 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
· Available to work in rotating shifts
· Bilingual (English/Spanish)
· Teamwork oriented and good interpersonal and customer service skills
· Strong compliance mindset and sound judgment
· Previous experience managing electronic medical records
· Proficient in computer systems and MS Windows (Word, Power Point & Excel)
· Ability to prepare reports in Excel for department metrics and associated presentation materials
· Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under supervision
· Available to be consulted, when needed, to support a 24/7 operation in rotating shifts

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$12.98 - $29.09Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
