My client - an FDI company, is looking for an NPD Transfer Project Material Leader to join their dynamic team in Vietnam. This role welcomes experienced individuals from at least 5 years in the same role, who can speak fluently confidently English, to optimize the supply chain for New Product Development (NPD) projects.
The successful candidate will act as a bridge between R&D teams to ensure the smooth transition of new products from development to production. With the focus in material management, this role will closely collaborate with internal stakeholders (regional R&D counter partners) & external (supplier) in qualifying material and controlling cost, to meet the production requirements, quality standards, and cost targets.

I. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: R&D Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D teams in the US, Germany, Singapore or other countries. Provide input and feedback on material specifications, including trending/suitable type of material, quality, cost, lead time, delivery time, etc Material Management: Support R&D and Purchasing team in sourcing to identify and qualify trusted suppliers for material development process Updates material performance and minimizes issues that can affect the supply chain. Costing and Pricing: Develop and analyze BOM costing and quote calculations to ensure competitiveness and accuracy. Monitor and manage costs throughout the NPD process to maintain budgetary targets Supplier Management: Negotiate terms and maintain supplier relationships to support NPD projects. II. REQUIREMENTS: University/college graduate (Electronics/Electrical/Automotive Engineering/Industry Management will be an advantage) From 5 years ++ of experience in the same role, especially for material management for NPD projects A must: Technical knowledge in electronics/automotive products, including PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) or materials such as plastics. Fluent English 4 skills communication Proficiency of Excel, SAP or ERP Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Hard-working, committed, responsible, confident, proactive Solid communication skills to build relationships and foster collaboration with internal & external stakeholders Leadership skill is a plus
