We are seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join our Urology Department, as we expand both our physician team and our current group of three experienced advanced practice clinicians. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a wide range of urologic conditions and complex surgical support. You will play an essential role in enhancing patient access, streamlining care coordination, and ensuring continuity and high-quality outcomes for our patient population. Work alongside an experienced and collaborative clinic nursing team, including a dedicated nurse navigator and comprehensive support for robust clinic-based procedures.
Position Overview
General Schedule: Clinic hours, 8:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m., OR hours 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM; no call, evenings, or weekendsLocation: 32nd Avenue Campus, Fargo, NDPractice Mix: Approximately 60% outpatient clinic and 40% urologist surgical first-assist coverageFuture Opportunity: Strong potential to expand advanced practice clinician procedural work within the outpatient setting and clinic outreachOutpatient Volume: 10-14 patients per dayPreferred Experience: Background in UrologyThe Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will utilize advanced assessment, clinical knowledge, and sound decision-making skills while practicing both independently and collaboratively with physicians and other health care professionals. The APP will focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and comprehensive care for individuals and families across the lifespan, in alignment with their area of expertise.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.Current certification in CPRNational certification, in applicable area.Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
