Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to lead our Virtual Medicine Team.
This position will be a hybrid work model including telehealth visits and onsite administrative responsbilities. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 2 years APP experience, including leadership experience:

Responsibilities Include:
Provides oversight and leadership for greater than 10 APPs or at multiple locations or at discretion of department/service lineReports to Chief APP OfficerPartners with Chief APP Officer to recruit, interview and hire new APPsCollaborates with clinical and operational team members of the department/service lineEnsure standardized on-boarding with regular evaluations for new hiresInitiate, with Chief, any disciplinary or remediation needed for any team membersScheduling and ensuring coverage of shifts for team members, ensures adequate patient coverageOversight of APP timekeepingPerforms mid-year and annual performance reviews and competency assessments for APPs on teamMaintains regulatory files for team membersParticipate in leadership development programs, required meetings and annual retreatsProvide formal and informal clinical instruction, coaching and mentoring for all team membersEngages in monthly team meetingsRounding on regular basis at designated siteOther duties as assigned0.3 FTE admin timeMinimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife, or CRNA/AACompletion of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife, or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant programCurrently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), or as a Certified Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB), or as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), or as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)Masters degree or higherPALS, BLS, or ACLS may be required in some areas
