**Job Title: Welder/Fitter** 1st and 3rd shift open $22.75 to $25.50/hr (depends on interview and weld test) **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team, offering opportunities on either the 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM) or the 3rd shift (Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 PM to 4:30 AM) in Canton, OH. Your role will involve performing MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication on structural steel or stainless steel, following blueprints for precise fitting and fabrication of parts. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding and fitting on structural steel or stainless steel. + Follow blueprints to accurately fit and fabricate parts. + Complete welds up to 1/2 inch. + Grind and prep parts for welding. + Read a tape measure to cut parts to size. + Utilize overhead cranes daily. + Assist with shop cleaning during downtime. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years welding experience in manufacturing. + Proficiency in MIG welding on structural metal. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Capability to pass a weld test, performing vertical and horizontal welds. + Operation of material handling equipment such as cranes and tow motors. + Competency in using basic hand tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be able to read a tape measure. + Basic understanding of different weld joints. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Capacity to stand for 8+ hours per day. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.75 - $25.50/hr.
