Long term hire (not temporary)Weekly Pay!Apply today!!Responsibilities:Assist with the setup and operation of tandem rolling mill machinery.Install and adjust rolls; perform threading up, first piece inspection, welding, and general cleanup.Utilize precision measurement instruments and tape measure for basic shop math calculations.Set up and operate wire machines with minimum supervision.Change over equipment and ensure product quality.Make changes in operating conditions as necessary to produce quality products.Perform necessary tests and measurements to assure product meets required specifications.Keep accurate product data and records as required.Correct or adjust any machine malfunction immediately to ensure continuity of production and quality.Report any major machine malfunction immediately to the Supervisor.Continually inspect products while performing other duties.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Assist in other duties as directed.Essential Skills:Machine operating, production, and manufacturing experience.Machine operation experience.Ability to read measurements (tape measure/micrometers/calipers).Mechanically inclined.Forklift experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.6+ months of heavy manufacturing experience required.Prefer at least 6 months of machine operation experience.Ability to read a tape measure.Safety mindset and ability to complete all job tasks safely.Ability to lift up to 60 lbs throughout the shift.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.70 - $22.07/hr.
