Non-invasive Cardiology Faculty Physician
**Job Summary and Responsibilities** Dignity Health Cardiovascular Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (https://www.dignityhealth.org/arizona/locations/stjosephs/about-us/awards) , is recruiting a Non-Invasive Academic Cardiologist. Our group is seeking a BE/BC non-invasive cardiologist who is looking to join an employed academic group model. Through the affiliation with Creighton SOM, they will join our faculty and be integrally involved in our cardiology fellowship. As clinical faculty they will oversee the training of future fellows, as well as medical students and residents at our academic health center. Clinical research opportunities are encouraged with support available. The position consist of a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with a single clinic location located directly on campus. You will have access to full support staff. The group currently provides a comprehensive array of services with continued growth into the structural and interventional field. You will enjoy a great work-life balance in a rapidly growing city. **Job Requirements** Requirements: + MD/DO Degree + Cardiovascular Disease (Board Certified/Board Eligible) + Echocardiography (BC/BE) + Nuclear experience preferred + Academic experience in teaching residents and/or cardiology fellows preferred + Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals + Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position **Where You'll Work** Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed provider group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 sub-specialty services. The physicians and APPs provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.
