Job Summary:
This family are welcoming their first baby and are looking for a maternity nurse who can offer calm, knowledgeable overnight support; so gentle guidance, reassurance and space for them to rest will be important. They would like someone who can teach and guide them through the early weeks — helping them understand their baby, offering advice when needed, and working as a team to get things off to a positive start. They hope to introduce a routine early (as advised), and plan to use both breast and bottle feeding, so confidence with combination feeding is helpful. Dad may need to travel during the booking, so the maternity nurse should be comfortable offering steady support to mum during those periods.
