Roles and Responsibilities
Provide technical and program management leadership in the integration across module disciplines with limited guidance.Develop collaborative system level solutions in concert with the Platform and Systems Integration LeadersFormulate and guide teams toward implementation plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments.Provide leadership defining test plans that meet program objectives.Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams, mentor others in the organization.Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developmentsLead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasksParticipate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviewsProvide leadership to help focus and integrate new technologies smoothly into NPI programs and productionStay cognizant of the GE Aerospace technology roadmap to determine how pipeline technologies can benefit the platform and communicate to the technology council what technologies will be needed to support a future productSupport proposalsSupport the teams in modernizing design and systems engineering processes with lean tools.Lead system level reviews, analyses and initiativesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.5 years of relevant experience in gas turbine enginesThis role requires the successful candidate to maintain a US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. Citizenship. Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold US Government Security Clearance.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
