Position Overview:\n
The NGF Utility Technician is responsible for assisting in daily oversight of swine production at assigned site(s) on an on-call\/as needed basis. This includes supporting animal care, environmental control, biosecurity, and production protocols. Working 20–30 hours per week when on-call, this role ensures site-level tasks are completed accurately and consistently. This position is hourly, non-exempt (must clock in\/out) and is eligible for earned leave only.\n

\u202fWhat You Will Do:\n\nAssist with daily animal care, feeding, watering, and environment monitoring.\nSupport site-level sanitation, repairs.\nMaintain accurate records and assist with reporting as directed.\nUphold CF's biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare standards.\nRespond to alarm notifications \n\n
What You Offer Us:\n\nHigh School diploma or GED required; some college in Agriculture or Animal Science preferred.\n1 year of swine production or livestock experience desired.\nAbility to work independently and follow structured processes.\nStrong organizational and record-keeping skills.\nWillingness to adapt and learn company policies and practices.\n\n
