If you’re nodding your head, keep reading—this might be your dream job.

We’re looking for a full-time writer to join our Internal Communications Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating clear, compelling content that informs and inspires U-Haul Team Members across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll write everything from feature stories and news briefs to infographics and announcements … helping bring our company's culture and people to life.

What You’ll Do:

· Work under the direction of the Internal Communications manager to complete writing assignments across a range of formats.

· Conduct interviews with team members at all levels of the company.

· Research, fact-check and collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and tone.

· Coordinate photo needs with our in-house creative team.

· Edit and proofread content for grammar, style and consistency.

· Translate complex or technical information into engaging human-centered stories.

· Juggle multiple deadlines with grace (and humor).

What You Bring:

· A bachelor’s degree in journalism, mass communications, creative writing, public relations or equivalent professional experience.

· One or more years of experience in news, business or feature writing (corporate communications experience is a plus).

· Impeccable writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.

· A flexible, collaborative attitude and a knack for storytelling.

· A sense of humor—seriously, it’s a must.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams etc.) is required.

· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or other graphic design software is a plus!

Why You'll Love It Here:

· You’ll be part of a supportive team that values creativity, clarity and community.

· You’ll have the chance to make a real impact on how thousands of team members connect with the company and each other.
