On-Site PacSci EMC, an operating company of Ralliant, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented New Product Development (NPD) Manufacturing Engineer Intern Summer 2026 to join our Engineering team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting critical manufacturing programs and process development initiatives within a dynamic aerospace and defense environment. You’ll collaborate closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineers, as well as site leadership, to support key project deliverables and help drive program milestones to completion. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** + Support development and completion of Compliance Matrices. + Assist in conducting Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). + Perform risk assessments in support of active manufacturing programs. + Design tooling for test fixtures to support validation and production activities. + Support process development experiments and analyze resulting data. + Participate in group design and manufacturing reviews. + Work within Configuration Management Systems to manage and control program documentation. + Conduct qualitative and quantitative data reporting and analysis across programs. **Education Required:** + Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Completed Junior year or higher preferred. + Proficient in MS Excel, SolidWorks, and other engineering/business software tools. **Experience Required:** + Previous engineering internship, manufacturing, or project experience preferred but not required. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to adapt and respond effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and changing work environment. + Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in support of larger program goals. + Willingness to participate in hands-on engineering and development activities. + Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. + Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create value and deliver results. + PacSci EMC is a U.S. Department of State ITAR-regulated employer.
