Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Network Services Engineer (DDI Specialist) to join their team. As a Network Services Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting network operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Network Services Engineer (DDI Specialist)
**Location:** Richmond, VA or Charlotte, NC
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage initiative-based portfolios in a multi-matrixed environment.
+ Act as an escalation point for unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests.
+ Oversee the change management process through its entire lifecycle.
+ Execute a portfolio using consulting skills and conflict resolution.
+ Collaborate with business partners and customers to develop innovative solutions for network issues.
**What's Needed?**
+ Subject matter expertise in DDI requests (Vital QIP and Bluecat).
+ Strong knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, and basic routing/switching.
+ Experience in Network Operations Service Delivery.
+ Familiarity with tools such as Remedy, Putty, Windows PowerShell, Bluecat, and Vital QIP.
+ Proven ability to manage DHCP/DNS and IP management systems effectively.
