We are seeking highly experienced Zscaler Automation to join our Engineering Team. The role involves design-level activities, automation development, and advanced troubleshooting for Zscaler ZIA, proxy configurations, and network security solutions.

Location: Europe

Working Hours:

Operates on a “follow-the-sun” model with shifts between 07:00 AM and 08:00 PM CET. You will work comfortable 8-hour shift during this period of time. No on-call support required, but must be flexible to accommodate weekend or off-hour change implementations when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Zscaler Automation & Configuration Management

Analyze existing proxy PAC files from multiple countries and merge into optimized configuration blocks. Transfer current configurations from Zscaler portal to automation tools. Convert manual PAC files into automated PAC files for deployment.

Automation Tool Development

Design and develop Python-based scripts and web-based admin tools to manage Zscaler ZIA API. Implement governance features (e.g., exception tracking with requestor details) to ensure ECB audit compliance.

Network Security Design & Integration

Design-level expertise in Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls. Configure vZen for proxy access setup.

Project Delivery & Troubleshooting

Lead design and implementation of automation projects. Handle escalated support tickets for advanced troubleshooting. Ensure smooth change implementations during off-hours/weekends when required.

Requirements:

Experience & Expertise

Minimum 5+ years in network security and automation projects. Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA, PAC file management, and API integration. Proficiency in Python scripting and web-based tool development. Design-level knowledge of Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls. Familiarity with vZen for proxy access configuration.

Consulting & Governance Skills

Ability to design solutions with compliance and audit requirements in mind. Strong articulation of past project delivery and troubleshooting experience during technical interviews.

Other Requirements

Capable of working independently and handling complex design-level tasks. Willingness to work flexible hours for change implementations.
