Job Title: Network Engineer (Mid-senior level)

Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Duration: Long-term contract with intent to convert
Pay Rate: $55-60/hour +

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with extensive experience in Cisco networking and modern automation practices. This is a hands-on role within a large operations engineering team, focused on network implementations and evolving toward infrastructure automation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain network configurations including routing, switching, BGP, and overlay/underlay environments.Work on DNS deployments and network configuration projects.Utilize load balancers (A10 and F5 preferred) for network traffic management.Develop automation scripts using Python and YAML for network configuration.Use Git for version control and collaborative configuration management.Collaborate with a 40-person engineering team to deliver high-quality network solutions.

Top Requirements

6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer (Cisco, routing/switching, BGP, overlay/underlay).Strong experience with load balancers (A10 and F5).Automation skills using Python.Proficiency with YAML for defining and automating network infrastructure.Experience with Git for version control.
