**Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Contract Network Engineer to join their team onsite in San Jose, CA. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure Department supporting the Network Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and adaptability to new technologies, which will align successfully in the organization.**

**Pay Range:**
$50-53 per hour W2
**What’s the Job?**
+ Assist users with network-related inquiries and provide technical support for network issues.
+ Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including applying software updates, patches, and firmware upgrades.
+ Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and respond to alerts.
+ Install and configure network hardware and software components, including wireless equipment.
+ Maintain detailed documentation related to network configurations and procedures.
**What’s Needed?**
+ 5–7 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
+ Basic understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
+ Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
+ Relevant certifications such as CCNA (preferred).
+ Python scripting experience and automation development skills a plus.
