Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Network Communications – Network Monitoring Analyst (25-209) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position, located in Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO., plays a crucial role in our mission to support the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.
Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier globally and regionally. Networks integrate and synchronize autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC network systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment.
Essential Functions:
Will provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC network hardware and softwareDocument and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real-world eventsAssist in all network hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSOExperience in Windows Server maintenanceMust be able to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointPerforms other duties and assignments as requiredBasic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a related discipline and 0 years of experience, or 6 years of related experience instead of a degree may be consideredApplicants must have a current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearanceDoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc.) is requiredPosition requires rotating 24x7 shift work, will be assigned to a 12-hour shift, determined by mission requirements. Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
