As an NDT Inspector, you'll perform and document nondestructive tests using Visual, Liquid Penetrant, and Magnetic Particle methods. You'll evaluate welds to ensure compliance with U.S. Navy Specifications and Standards, and play a key role in maintaining quality and safety aboard Navy vessels.

Required QualificationsASNT-TC-1A or equivalent NDT Level II certificationHigh School Diploma or equivalentU.S. Passport OR Enhanced WA State ID + U.S. Birth CertificateNo convictionsAble to commute to PSNS (no per diem or travel compensation)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain NDT process instructions and documentation.Oversee procedure qualifications and welder performance certifications.Audit and certify welding and brazing processes.Write Inspection/Deficiency Reports and investigate discrepancies.Coordinate with production teams and witness inspection checkpoints.Ensure compliance with all Health/Safety and Environmental policies.Preferred ExperienceShipyard experience strongly preferredAluminum inspection experience highly valuedUT experience is a plusEssential SkillsStrong understanding of Navy standards and welding specificationsExcellent written and verbal communicationProficient in Word, Excel, and database toolsPhysically able to work in confined shipboard spacesWhy Join Us?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
