We are seeking a dedicated NDT Helper with basic mathematic skills and the ability to stand for prolonged periods. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and be capable of reading, writing, and communicating in English. Additionally, candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

ResponsibilitiesReview and assimilate work instructions related to racking, cleaning, and masking operations.Perform receiving inspections (before processing) as needed and report any damage or discrepancy immediately.Gather supplies such as racks, tooling, baskets, carts, etc.Mask production parts to protect certain surfaces from cleaning and inspecting operations.Rack production parts for cleaning and inspecting operations.Clean production parts, including degreasing or manual solvent cleaning.Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as goggles, safety glasses, aprons, boots, gloves, hearing protection, etc., and comply with safety directives and policy.Work closely with inspectors and area leadership to complete work and prioritize tasks.Clean, organize, and maintain work area as prescribed by supervision.Complete documentation, counting of production parts, computer scanning, packaging to protect and transport, and other assigned tasks.Essential SkillsBasic mathematic skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Good communication skills.Ability to work alone or as part of a team with good cooperative skills.Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, including understanding written procedures and instructions.Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with multiple priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsAerospace experience.Experience with racking, cleaning, production, general labor, setting up and racking parts, etching, or previous anodizing experience.Why Work Here?

This role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Work Environment

This position is based in a large production facility with 200 employees, where aerospace parts are anodized, paint prepped, and painted for other manufacturing companies. The facility may have a chemical/paint smell and conditions may include exposure to chemicals/solvents, occasional fumes, wet/humid conditions, low-level lighting, and moderate noise levels. The role may require heavy lifting or the use of a mechanical hoist to aid in lifting objects. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required during certain tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
