Job Description
The NDI Technician Level II will conduct nondestructive inspections on aircraft parts for T-38 aircraft, utilizing advanced techniques such as Eddy Current (ET), Ultra Sonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT) and/or Liquid Penetrant (PT) to identify surface and subsurface discontinuities in aerospace components or other critical parts. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Conduct inspections using ET, UT, MT and/or PT methods on components such as wheels, airframe parts, and engine components.Set up, calibrate, and operate NDI equipment according to established procedures.Interpret and evaluate test results to determine material integrity.Maintain certifications and perform inspections in accordance with industry and company standards.Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.Perform process control checks and ensure equipment functionality.Train and mentor Level I inspectors and assist Level III personnel in developing techniques.Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure audit readiness.Position Requirements
Proficiency in NDI techniques such as Eddy Current (ET), Ultra Sonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT) and Liquid Penetrant (PT).NAS 410 - Level II Certifications for above listed methods. Aviation / Aerospace experience as an NDT / NDI Inspector.Strong understanding of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.400+ hours of hands-on experience in each method.32 hours classroom training for PT.40 hours classroom training for ET.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $55.00/hr.
