Job DescriptionThe Content group at NBC Sports Bay Area/California is responsible for the day-to-day planning and production of on-air and digital schedules. Interns will assist in the production of daily content and programs, while also helping various production and marketing related initiatives including research, audio/video production, news gathering, editing content.

Take steps in next-level editing, learning from skilled NBC Sports Bay Area staff editors/managerContribute/support editing needs as part of the daily workloadWork with Manager, Video Producer/Editors on support for upcoming projectsLearn both digital and linear editing platformsUnderstand NBC Sports Media databases and ways to work through for projectsExecuting detail work to procure footage from external sourcesMay be assigned other tasks needed to support the network's day-to-day operationsQualificationsBasic Qualifications
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program.Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.Must be available to work 16 to 24 hours per week from June 1 – August 7, 2026.Must be willing to work in San Francisco, California.Desired Characteristics
