ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed in the job level.
+ Regulatory Oversight:Ensure compliance with state regulations and oversee the permitting processes for drilling and production operations.
+ Technical Analysis:Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations on drilling, production, and well integrity issues.
+ Data Management:Analyze and manage data related to well performance, reservoir management, and production optimization.
+ Collaboration:Work closely with operators, field inspectors, and other stakeholders to address and resolve technical and regulatory issues.
+ Policy Development:Participate in the development and implementation of policies aimed at improving industry standards and practices.
Qualifications
PREFERENCES:
Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:0-5 years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory and technical aspects.
Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, technical reporting, and project management.
Attributes:Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities..
KNOWLEDGE:
+ Knowledge of several technical fields pertinent to the agency.
+ Knowledge of the principles of scientific measurement and experiment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (typically in The Sciences)
Experience:
1-3 years of progressive work (typically in The Sciences) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Natural Resources Principal
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
4-7 years of progressive work experience (typically in The Sciences) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Natural Resources Principal
