Join our North American Gas and Power team as a Natural Gas Fundamentals Analyst in Houston, where you will collaborate with traders and analysts to build and maintain supply/demand models and analytical dashboards. You’ll develop expertise in key market drivers such as supply and demand dynamics, weather impacts, storage levels, pipeline flows, and regulatory or geopolitical influences. By collecting and interpreting data from reputable sources, you will provide critical insights to support market forecasting and strategic decision-making. In this role, you’ll monitor production, consumption, imports, exports, and inventory levels to anticipate market movements. You will work independently and as part of a team, presenting complex findings in a clear, concise manner to non-technical stakeholders. Minimum two years of relevant high-stakes trade floor experience in the natural gas markets, ideally gained in a fast-paced trading environmentHands-on expertise with natural gas market analysis tools and modeling platforms (e.g., supply/demand modeling software, data visualization tools)Familiarity with key concepts such as pipeline flows, storage dynamics, basis differentials, and regulatory impactsExperience in one or more major North American natural gas trading regions, such as Henry Hub, SoCal, or Dominion SouthTechnical proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, with clear and concise communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
