Proposal preparation, subcontract negotiations, fact finding, contract analysis and administration, and / or Government audit activitiesAssisting with the execution of subcontracts and working with subcontract customers, which include the U.S. Government, Commercial and / or International Customers, and Prime U.S. Government ContractorsConducting contract closeouts by collaborating with other program functions to ensure the closeout process is complete Work with the Program Control to ensure subcontractors are closed out of Costpoint.Work with IT for any government property return and then obtain the necessary documentation for the PMs and subcontractors to close out the files.Set-up new subcontract files for new contract awards where you will work with the Program Managers, Accounting and Program Control to ensure the subcontractors are set up for new awardsCustomer communication via email and/or formal lettersScheduling and reporting deliveriesWeekly, monthly, or quarterly reports, as required by the Business AreaCompiling and maintaining contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and company policies.Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with the opportunity to mentor with experienced professionals, gain experience and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field.
Required Skillset:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Law or Supply Chain ManagementStrong work ethics and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsScheduled Weekly Hours: Average 40 hours per week, 12 weeks in duration during the period of Sumer 2026
Requirement:
Must be a US CitizenMust pass a Security Pre-Screen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
