The N926 Adversary Intelligence Department specializes in mission management, strategic foresight, test and evaluation, and Intelligence After Next, delivering forward-looking intelligence solutions to anticipate and address emerging threats.
In this role, you will work to resolve the most difficult mission challenges faced by the Intelligence Community (IC). As an NDI intern, you will serve as a member of a team of MITRE professionals focused on leveraging various tools, data architectures and traditional/non-traditional data sources to solve critical intelligence gaps and be required to:
Provide direct support to Sponsors through technical recommendations and assistance with all-source analysis
Apply scientific methods and technical tradecraft across the full range of intelligence missions in support of global operations.
Develop, assess, and recommend adoption of advanced analytic techniques, including large language models, entity extraction/resolution, audio transcription, and other data analytic tools.
Participating as part of a MITRE team to define, resolve, and deliver solutions to the most pressing technical challenges faced by the IC
Support the development of a variety of analytical models to sponsor challenges
Work with teams to produce concrete short-term tangible outputs that make progress towards larger, impactful outcomes
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in the field of Public Policy, Security Studies, International Relations, Political Science or relatedMust continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.Foundational knowledge in national security, data analytic techniques, including large language models, entity extraction/resolution, audio transcription, and other data analytic toolsAbility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
