NA Financial Ops Associate - Accounts Payable

Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role is responsible for all aspects of North America Accounts Payable. Success in this position requires a strong attention to detail, ownership of responsibilities, and the ability to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be an effective collaborator who can also work independently, demonstrate flexibility, and maintain a strong orientation toward customer service and supplier management. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of assigned duties. This position will interact professionally and effectively with multiple business and operational groups across the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentBasic accounting knowledgePrevious experience in a financial roleExperience with Accounts Payable systems (e.g., Coupa, Oracle, PeopleSoft Financials)Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and ExcelAbility to learn quickly and retain informationStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to multi-taskAttention to detailAbility to work independently, make decisions, and apply sound business judgmentDependable and accountableStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and interact with various intercompany departments

Desired Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance3–5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or related positionsStrong work ethic, focused on accountability and follow-throughProfessionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, with sensitivity around sensitive dataAbility to identify and prioritize dependencies, work effort, and deadlinesAdvanced end-user computer skills, especially Excel (formulas, pivots) preferredExperience in a customer service environment, solving complex problems and diffusing customer anxietyExperience in process review and documentationComfortable interacting with multiple levels of management and peersProjects self-confidence, enthusiasm, and initiative
