Job Overview 

• Employ leisure/music activities to help patients/clients with disabilities or illnesses. 

• Maintain patients'/clients’ physical and emotional well-being through engaging music activities. 

• Assist patients/clients in integrating into their community through group activities. 

• Work in diverse settings, including hospitals, community parks and recreation departments, residential or care facilities, and specialized school programs. 

Duties 

• Assess patient/client needs using medical records, personal observation, and discussions with the patient and their family or care providers. 

• Develop and execute therapeutic programs tailored to individual patient/client requirements. 

• Stay updated on communal and therapeutic resources to best support patients/clients. 

• Document patient/client progress during therapeutic activities.
