Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a foundational understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, electrical work, and die-casting equipment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read schematics and blueprints and use inspection tools effectively. This role involves the use of various power tools for repairs and requires basic machine shop and shop math skills.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned.Service and repair die-casting and associated equipment.Repair or service facility equipment beyond plant equipment, including risers.Understand and implement procedures for confined spaces, such as cooling tower reservoirs.Manage spill control, containment, prevention, and disposal.Handle and maintain all chemicals, both liquids and solids, properly.Ensure equipment is in lockout/Tagout mode and follow proper procedures.Operate power industrial trucks and boom lifts.Know the location of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and interpret required actions.Follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.Perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the maintenance foreman.Essential Skills
At least 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.Mechanically and electrically inclined (50% mechanical and 50% electrical).Experience with troubleshooting hydraulics.Ability to work from electrical blueprints.Proficient in shop math skills.Non-smoking status or a serious commitment to quitting smoking.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and electrical systems, including 3-phase motors.Why Work Here?

The work environment is very loud and can be dirty in work areas around the machinery. However, the facility is kept clean and organized, providing a safe and efficient workspace for all employees.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
